Sturier Trawler 520 AC "Stabilizers"

Since 1918, shipyard 'Volharding Staveren' has been one of the leading steel shipbuilders. This Sturier Trawler 520 AC, delivered in 1999, is built with the high uncompromising quality that characterizes the ships of this yard. In addition to the already very complete specification list, the following items are worthy of (additional) mention; extensive hydraulic system with stabilizers - bow and stern thruster - bow and stern anchor winch - power steering - hydraulic mast lowering, complete navigation instrumentation, electronic engine controls, remotely operated floodlight, wipers with wash/interval function, camera at the bow, rescue raft (bj. 2024), 5-blade propellers, switchable dual fuel pre-filter, Candy 3-in-1 stove/oven/dishwasher, washing/drying combination Eumenia Sparmeister 802, etc.

Considering the age of this yacht, the interior is in well-kept condition. The exterior paintwork and bilges deserve additional preservation to the steelwork. A recent steel thickness report is available at our office. A great vessel with potential!

The wide gangways are easily accessible and safely walkable thanks to the raised steel bulwark with stainless steel railing all around. From the gangways, the spacious aft deck is accessible. The aft deck has three fixed deck benches, one of which is even deep enough to store folding bicycles, for example. At the same level is the pilothouse, accessible through the both doors. The pilothouse has a great view all around and is laid out with midship steering position, chart table and co-sailing bench.

The interior is nautical and in high-quality teak with beautiful solid moldings and a luxurious skai-panel ceiling. The layout is very well thought out and is ideally suited to enjoying a stay on board for months on end, possibly with your guests, as all spaces are equally furnished.

The saloon and galley are amidships and on the same level. The saloon is laid out with comfortable sofa with a beautifully designed cabinetry opposite, connecting the saloon and galley. The U-shaped kitchen is fully equipped so you can prepare the most delicious meals in no time.

In the bow is a sleeping cabin with free-standing double bed, lots of closet/storage space and ensuite sanitary room. The sanitary room is equipped with toilet, washing facilities and shower.

In the stern are accessible, from the central hall, the engine room, guest toilet, third sleeping cabin and owner's cabin. The third sleeping cabin is equipped with bunk beds and ample closet space. The owner's cabin is spacious and laid out with freestanding double bed, plenty of closet/storage space and ensuite sanitary room. The sanitary room is equipped with toilet, double sink and shower.

Staying comfortably aboard this Sturier during all seasons is perfectly possible thanks to the good insulation, central heating with floor heating and radiators, termic-line windows in wheelhouse/salon and air conditioning in the aft cabin.

The sailing area is spacious and extends from Scandinavian waters to the Mediterranean Sea. The Sturier Trawler 520 AC is ideally suited to enjoy spending months on European waters, possibly with your guests.
