The spacious aft deck is easily accessible from the wide gangways with secure stainless steel railing all around and equipped with a midship steering position and aft entrance to the interior. The aft deck is covered with an XL canopy where the last part around the aft deck can also be completely closed off. This creates a lot of extra living space.

The interior is in teak and divided with salon, galley, forward cabin and aft ship with owner's cabin and separate shower/toilet room. The salon has an L-shaped settee, inside steering position and plenty of closet space. The galley is a completely enclosed room and equipped with kitchen and dinette. The forward sleeping cabin has a V-bed and closet space. In the stern is the owner's cabin with spacious freestanding double bed, dressing table and plenty of closet space. There are also two centrally accessible sanitary rooms; one as a toilet room with washing facilities and one as a shower room.

This Smelne Kruiser 1200 DL was put together by her first and current owner in consultation with the shipyard which makes it a unique Smelne. This is particularly reflected in the layout of the saloon/ galley, imposing mast on the saloon roof, generous XL convertible top, spacers on the underwater ship, etc.

In addition to the specifications already mentioned, the following items are worth extra mentioning; two solar panels with charge controller, WMMT fuel bacterial filter, extra faucet with filter for filtering drinking water in the galley, gas springs on mast, stainless steel ship's bell holder on cabin roof, outboard motor mount on bathing platform, etc.

The owners have made long and distant trips through the Netherlands, Germany, Belgium and France, for which this Smelne is very suitable. Now they say goodbye to their beloved ship, given the respectable age they have reached.
