In the Smelne Vlet 42 SD, the open cockpit, saloon and galley are on the same level, making the boat easily accessible for everyone. The two integrated stairs in the transom make access from the gangways to the bathing platform easy.

The lovely spacious open cockpit can be accessed from the bathing platform, via the transom door, or from the gangway thanks to the integrated steps. Furthermore, there is a comfortable L-shaped integrated deck bench in the cockpit with plenty of storage space. All this can be found under the extended overhanging saloon roof.

The 4 massive teak cockpit doors connect the open cockpit to the saloon to create one large living space. In the interior, white leather is beautifully combined with warm American cherry. The woodwork is beautifully finished with solid mouldings and use of high-quality materials such as Hi-Macs worktops and the many stainless steel details in this Smelne.

The saloon is laid out with comfortable L-shaped saloon settee. The fully leather-finished steering position with beautifully round-lined cabinetry at port side give a luxurious feel to the spacious cosy saloon. The beautiful massive side door next to the steering position makes it easy for the skipper to berth the vessel. A specially placed step takes you quickly from the steering position into the gangway. Behind the saloon settee and next to the steering position is the fully equipped U-kitchen with all necessary equipment on board. A generous electrically operated saloon hatch keeps the saloon pleasantly light and ensures optimum ventilation.

Located in the bow is a beautiful sanitary room, guest cabin and very spacious owner’s cabin with free-standing double bed.

This Smelne Vlet has a modern line thanks to the tightly lined closed roof edge above the saloon. A big advantage of this roof edge is that water and dirt do not disappear past the windows. This is all drained inside through stainless steel pipes that discharge on the waterline.
